Kiss Your way through Games with the Kiss Controller

Everyone seems to be cashing in on the motion controlled gaming markettoday. After Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft followed suit with the Move and Kinect respectively. And the success all three enjoyed has cemented the fact that motion controlled gaming is here to stay. Now it’s only a matter of time before someone takes this tech to the next level, and it looks like that someone is Hye Yeon Nam who’s come up with a rather intimate method of gaming.

The Kiss Controller as it’s called will allow two players to play games while passionately locked in a French kiss. The controller is comprised of two parts; "a customized headset that functions as a sensor receiver and a magnet that provides sensor input. The user affixes a magnet to his/ her tongue with Fixodent. Magnetic field sensors are attached to the end of the headset and positioned in front of the mouth. As the user moves her tongue, this creates varying magnetic fields that are used to control games."

And you thought gaming was for kids

Case in point, the bowling game demoed with this controller where one person guides the ball with his/her tongue (that sentence sounds wrong on so many levels). Besides bowling I’m sure there are a ton of sports out there that would make perfect kissing games, as long as players can concentrate on actually playing the game.

While I really don’t know what to make of controller, I only hope Nam comes up with something that allows gamers to umm play with themselves.

samsung galaxy Apollo!!

In the off chance that the Galaxy S isn't your cup of tea, the second-hottest Android device Samsung has released so far is undoubtedly the M100S over in its domestic Korean market, a 3.7-inch hottie with a 5 megapixel cam, 802.11n WiFi, and Android 2.1. It's not just for South Korea, though, as evidenced by this shot that's popped up over on Samsung's British site showing a device known as the "Galaxy Apollo" that looks suspiciously identical to the M100S. Frankly, we're still dying to get a glimpse of this Bluetooth 3.0-equipped M120S at some point -- but in the meantime, we suppose this puppy will have to do. No word on a release date, but Sammy's site claims that it's "coming soon."

google Nexus S in INDIA

Android fans will remember the heartbreak and the rage that came with the Google Nexus One no-show in India. The phone was supposed to release here in a watered down avatar and obviously, we weren’t too happy about it, but it never did. That doesn’t seem to be the case with Google’s second generation smartphone though, because the Gingerbread-bearing Nexus S is supposedly on its way here in all its glory.

The Nexus S - India bound?

AndroidOS.in broke the news earlier, thanks to a tip from one of their hyderabad readers who learnt about the impending release via a samsung sales representative. Mrigesh, the reader, had just purchased a Galaxy S which turned out to be dead on arrival. Samsung were unable to replace his unit due to a shortage and instead told him to wait until February, because they were going to be bringing the Samsung GT-I9003 to India. That might just happen to be the model number for the Nexus S that comes with a Super Clear LCD screen - the one that is sold everywhere except the US and UK, who’ll be getting Super AMOLED versions.

Samsung are one of the top-selling brands in India and their Android phones are a huge hit here. They’d want to capitalise on this we’re sure, so don’t be surprised if the phone does end up launching here in February. We just hope it’s released here at an unlocked price lower than EU’s, which is €650 (Rs. 38,900). For more information on the Nexus S, click away.

SUMSUNG GALAXY S2

Everyone pretty much knows by now that Samsung are going to launch a successor to the popular Galaxy S at the upcoming Mobile World Congressin Barcelona. There’s even a teaser trailer out, so we don’t have long to go.

Next is Power?

That doesn’t stop the rumour mill from mongering though, as Samsung Firmware have shown. They’ve apparently got their hands on some information regarding Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone and it looks like it’s a beauty. Check out the rumoured specs below.
  • 4.3-inch or 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus Display
  • Megapixel Camera with LED Flash
  • 1GHz or 1.2GHz Orion Dual-Core Processor
  • Android 2..3 gingerbread
  • In built Near Field Communications (NFC) chip
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • Memory expandable up to 32GB
  • micro-USB
  • 1.3 Megapixel Front-facing camera
Pretty enticing, right? However take these with a grain of salt because they’re just rumours after all. But there isn’t much time left until MWC so we’ll find out either way real soon
